Spiritual Practices for Election Season and Beyond

Sundays October 6, 13 & 20 | 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.

Are you exhausted? Overwhelmed? Fearful? Angry? Are you sometimes tempted to just check out?

For years now we have been bombarded with bad news, crisis and outrage. It’s disorienting and draining. We have a long way to go before election day and it probably doesn’t end there, no matter the outcome of the election. We have a lot of healing to do and repairs to make. Are you ready for the long haul?

Spiritual practices (for a broad definition of spiritual practices) can help us stay engaged without burning out. They can help us find the energy to keep going and bring us hope and even joy.

This three-week class explores a wide range of spiritual practices and what they do for us. We will try different practices both together in class and on our own in between classes. We will use our knowledge of the enneagram in general and of our enneagram types to create a personalized list of spiritual practices to use going forward.

Location: Hamline United Methodist Church | 1514 Englewood Ave Saint Paul, MN

Lunch and Childcare Provided

Please note: This class is designed for people who know their enneagram type and are familiar with the enneagram. I offer typing sessions and an introductory class for people who want to get familiar with the enneagram before taking this class.

No cost, but registration is required.
